This cracked me up, thanks Eric Mathew for the tip!
Plus, if you are a Broadway lovah and haven’t seen Legally Brown yet, prepare to pee your pants just a little.
I love that the clip below is finally on youtube.
Come back when I do the Radio City Christmas show, I’ll be needing a dancing elf.
This clip always makes me smile and psychs me up for an audition. :) Me favorite Chenoweth plus hey! I was a dancing elf. I have a big next week ahead of me in that realm and a fun weekend down in Portland this weekend! Today at work, my assistant came down with a cold so I turned my normal routine of 25 handwashes a day (hey, it makes sense when carrying for 13 germs preschoolers) to 50 handwashes and 15 Purell dollops. Can’t get sick, can’t get sick, can’t get sick.
Also, feel free to follow me on the newest internet craze…Twitter!!!
The Variety critique of Shrek the Musical Pre-Broadway is in. I pretty much agree. My original critique found here. And yes, I bought my tickets for Broadway’s First National Tour of Spring Awakening next month in Seattle and I can’t wait! :)
I don’t know if the sky is heaven but I pray anyways.
-Idina Menzel, “I Stand”
While Jesus means something to me, I want to know why people of inter-faith have been so much kinder to me than 90% of Christians. Maybe their kindness is more genuine and less saccharine, or maybe I just offend a lot of Christians without meaning to. Again…without meaning to offend, I humbly ask why so many Christians have to be so damn smug? Sure it’s not just “them” and I fall into that category too, but I’m still thinking that I like the idea of hoping for universalism in the end. :)
Here’s a few thoughts that I’m currently stewing on:
I should probably crack a Bible open since I have no clue what Christians would say to half these questions, but I’d also like to know what everybody else is saying. Because hoping for universalism isn’t so bad, right? For now, God has no religion. :)
only about 2% of you will get this, but those who do might love it. if you did radio city with me, are named josh lamon or eric mathew, or i visited you in new york, i think you will’s laugh at this :)
because i heart kristen wiig and wicked.
i think this girl is funny.
utterly ridic, i know. stacey, liz, stefan, nikki, eric–thoughts? help. i can’t look away. stacey and i saw the show when i was in new york and i must admit i liked it better on mtv than live. there were some busted moments. but i really like the music of this show as in it’s a great workout mix.
and yet the whole reality tv search for elle, is kind of wa-waaaaa. maybe it’s genius and i’m just mad i didn’t think of it first. or maybe it’s a trainwreck like the hills but everyone will still watch. who knows yet.
you’re dancing with your mouth open. watch it.

regardless, i cannot look away.
so i’m over here at la casa de brann’s (i so took french so forgives!) enjoying my weekend dose of pop-culture to the max. right now i only have 2 channels, so i am beyond enjoying the brann’s cable + dvr. and i have to say that jerry mitchell is beyond presh in the show step it up and dance. he is a broadway legend and a genius. while it probably won’t be on broadway since i don’t really sing or dance, i would be a-maz-ing to either meet or work with him someday.
i’m now passing this over to my fellow pop-culture maven/broadway lovah – eric ‘you better live’ mathew for his two cents… comment e.
