hello from la la land & emmy wrap up…

and here’s my fashion wrap-up…

right in this moment

I love that the clip below is finally on youtube.

Come back when I do the Radio City Christmas show, I’ll be needing a dancing elf.

This clip always makes me smile and psychs me up for an audition. :)  Me favorite Chenoweth plus hey!  I was a dancing elf.  I have a big next week ahead of me in that realm and a fun weekend down in Portland this weekend!  Today at work, my assistant came down with a cold so I turned my normal routine of 25 handwashes a day (hey, it makes sense when carrying for 13 germs preschoolers) to 50 handwashes and 15 Purell dollops.  Can’t get sick, can’t get sick, can’t get sick.

Also, feel free to follow me on the newest internet craze…Twitter!!!

since there’s nothing i could do to convince my youtube-obsessed brother to not post this, i’m rolling with it and allowing you all to preview the embarrassment.  he filmed an audition video for me and we were just being dumb at the end and trying to come up with promos for our websites.  two even worse takes can be found here and here.  decided to suck up the pride and just roll with it. :)

and don’t take any of it too literally, we really aren’t attempting to be famous-er or hot-ter than mk and ash. :)  well he might be.

oh and the dumb (funny to us) wicked thing at the end comes from killing time youtubing really bad wicked movie trailers.

Zach is caught off guard when 2 female LP friends arrive unexpectedly on the farm. As he struggles to find things to do with them, it’s clear that Zach is not quite a lady’s man. Amy takes Molly, Jacob and their friends to a blustery day at the beach.
Update:  I don’t normally watch it, but I did this time.  I went to the Brann’s because they have cable and watched the show with my friend Bonnie and her granddaughter Taylor (who is the cutest two year old ever!  I love this girl).  Before the show, Taylor and I hung out and had a little bit of ice cream (yay Kristin!) and then we watched LPBW.  I’m so glad that they did the Casey/Jen visit and not something else I thought they were going to air.  Anyways that was no big deal.

the book is out!

Hello my blog-reading gems,

A couple years ago I was asked to write a segment for a book – three years later…is that how long it usually takes?!…it is finally published.  It’s called Student to Student: A Guide to College Life, published by Regal Books.

The book is “a collection of reflections that takes an honest look at the most common pitfalls and opportunities that life on campus affords”.  There are 52 contributors so it is organized to be a weekly inspirational reading.

It is available at Barnes and Noble, click here to be directed to it on their online store.

hope sprouts goes retail! :)
